III. INFRACTIONS, PUNISHMENTS & CAVEATS

Below is the final list of voted-on punishments and defined participants for the three infractions we determined must be addressed by this body. Punishments accompany infraction descriptions. The punishments for infractions were determined BEFORE applying said punishments to any individual participants. The punishments were considered separately from the persons involved.

All punishments are applied retroactively to the day after the events listed (8/14/05).

1) Xs on stage during rewarding of trophies
(Violation of COH, sections 2 & 5)
(Punishment: 6 month suspension (meaning can’t participate in a PSI event for next 6 months, which in this case would include iWPS) + 6 months probation)

Community Service Option: The EC has agreed to offer to reduce to 6 months probation if these participants volunteer to work at iWPS (based upon approval of EC).

2) Refusing to leave the stage, Xs or no
(Violation of COH, sections 2 & 5)
(Punishment: 1 year suspension (Ineligible for iWPS ’06 & NPS ’06) + one year probation)

Community Service Option: The EC has agreed to offer a reduction of this sentence to 2 years of probation if participants facing this charge:
1.) volunteer to work at 2 PSI events in the next year (based upon approval of EC)
2.) offer a written public apology to ABQ & the slam family.

3) Threats of physical violence **
(Violation of COH, sections 2, 4, & 5)
(Punishment: 2 yr. suspension + warning)

Community Service Option: The EC has agreed to offer to reduce to 2 years of probation if these participants:
1.) volunteer to work at 3 PSI events in the next 2 years (based upon approval of EC)
2.) offer a written public apology to the slam family & to the other party involved.
