Oops.
I forgot to remind you about the Poetry Slam tonight. 8PM in the Heidelberg’s diningoom. Who knows what fantastic(al) person might show up? It might be you. 30% off your bar tab if you work in the restaurant business (cool, huh?). Perform, read, pantomime, or act out your poem with interpretive dance. No nudity until after 10PM.
See you there.
Hey folks….
I had some time to sit back and eat turkey and pie and focus (not necessarily in that order)…and my vision’s still blurry. Which means that, yes, there will be a SLAM tomorrow, Monday, November 30, at the Heidelberg, in Ann Arbor, at 8PM, in the dining room.
At the least, I’ll be there, as will the handsome waiter, and the albatross. I plan on reading my poem about not being nice to people anymore because it sucks. And my sister will be there in rock-and-roll spirit. (And you don’t want to f*ck with that.)
Peace.

Hey Folks.
Yes, I realize it’s late notice, but I’ve been given the opportunity to leave town for the week, and I’m taking it, because I think I need it. So, no Slam this week, Monday, Nov. 23, at the Heidelberg (today).
But there will be, with certainty, a slam next week, Monday, Nov. 30, at the Heidelberg, in Ann Arbor, in the Dining Room. If that sounds weird, well, those of us who showed up last time had a fine evening. Or, at the very least, I did.
If you know someone who might not be on this mailing list (which is legion), and you think they might be attending tomorrow (er, tonight), either tell them not to bother, or tell them to go ahead, because the bartender’s friendly and if you want, you can still read poems in a pleasant atmosphere for no cover.
Otherwise, I’ll see you on Nov. 30th.
Peace.
–Matt Ernst
